Angrian calendar

The Angrian Calendar is the calendar used by a vast majority of the Lost Legion. It is known to have been used on the Lost Legion ever since the First Arrival. It has been first formalized by Monmur the Great in 419 AE in his Continental Manifesto.

Year

The Angrian calendar consists of 13 months of 30 days each except Crimary, which consists of 4 or 11 days. The year consists of 364 days (or 371 in a criminal year). A criminal year usually occurs every 13 years, except for it being omitted every 169 years.

Week

Each week excluding Crimary lasts 7 days - with days cycling in order of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. The cycle remains unbroken throughout the year if Crimary is ignored - thus June 1st is the next day in cycle to May 30th.

Crimary is excluded from the rules above. Regardless of the day May 30th is, the weekdays in Crimary are as follows:

Eras

EOP - Era of the Old Peoples

The era prior to most of recorded history of the current civilization of the Lost Legion. Most of the information from this age has been lost to time - only a few magical items and most deeply buried structures of the Old Peoples remained to this date. The years of the EOP are counted in reverse - for example 405 EOP is 405 years prior to the Angrian Era. It is estimated that the Old Peoples were eradicated by an unknown calamity around 600 EOP.

EA - Era of the Angrians

The Angrian Era begun with the arrival of the New Peoples on the Lost Legion - specifically the Angrian tribes from beyond the Southern Ocean. Most of this era is marked by the clash of the Angrian Empire and the Empire of Marsburg. This era has lasted for 915 years - thus the dates of this era extend from 1 AE to 915 AE.

ESP - Era of the Silver Pact

The Era of the Silver Pact marks the beginning of a new world order, created by the dissolution of the Angrian Empire. The name refers to the Silver Pact of the Amani Plains, which ensures the eternal peace of the cities of the confederacy.
