Campaigns in the world of the Lost Legion are large collections of sessions following a continuous plotline through the eyes of PCs - usually the same adventuring group with slight variations possible as the story develops. Collections of oneshots that are closely related to the campaign can also be included in the campaign. Only a collection of at least three sessions is considered a campaign - otherwise that collection is a oneshot.
Campaigns can be classified into main campaigns and side campaigns. Main campaigns are of great significance to the overarching plotline of the Lost Legion, and share a large amount of lore. Side campaigns are often shorter than the core campaigns or their events might not be as tightly related or significant to the Lost Legion's lore.
Main Campaigns
There are currently three main campaigns - Envoys of Chaos, Curse of Chaos and Lost Legion Rises.
Envoys of Chaos
Envoys of Chaos is the campaign associated with the first season of RPG with Chaos. It officially began in November 2021 and ended in June 2022 after 30 sessions total. The events of this campaign occured within the Duchy of Kalesia and North Kalesia - two nations torn apart by a rebellion.
Curse of Chaos
Curse of Chaos is the campaign associated with the second season of RPG with Chaos. The first session was played in September 2022 and the last one ended exactly a year later - in September 2023 after 30 sessions total. The events of this campaign relate to the cursed land of Barovia and the horrors within, based on the popular campaign setting of Curse of Strahd.
Lost Legion Rises
Lost Legion Rises is the campaign associated with the third season of RPG with Chaos. The prologue to this campaign spans from December 2022 to August 2023. The campaign proper began in October 2023 and it is currently ongoing. The storyline follows the fate of the Gods' Wager and the Pearls of the Universe - the lost centuries-old artifacts gifted by the gods to their respective avatars. Most events occur within the Empire of Marsburg, Kingdom of Five Plants and the Mon Sorte Island.
Side Campaigns
Two side campaigns can be listed - Lost Chaos of Phandelver and Free State Rebels.
Lost Chaos of Phandelver
Lost Chaos of Phandelver is a minicampaign of three sessions, which occured from June 2023 to July 2023. The events are based on the Lost Mines of Phandelver module, but the storyline quickly devolves into absurd as wild magic takes the reins.
Free State Rebels
Free State Rebels is an unfinished campaign of three sessions, which has taken place between April and May 2023. The storyline related to the Free State of Kiatu and the stirring rebellion against a meritocratic regime.
